I was working at the Wild Rose in Seattle when the G spot ation came about. It was the topic of conversation at the bar for months! thank you for this wonderful remembrance!

Dear Susie, I just interrupted my breakfast (a big deal obvs) to sign into your substack to tell you how incredible your Candida radio story was. What a tonic to hear someone who actually knows that scene give a proper account of the life of someone in it. You really recreated the texture of the era. And to call out the po-faced, judgmental ways of the likes of the New York Times. You did Candy proud. Ok, back to breakfast. Keep up your great work! ST
