In the emotional day after the fall of the Syrian dictator, Bashar Al-Assad, I am thinking of Steve Jobs, his sister Mona, and their Syrian father.

Our mutual early days in the San Francisco tech and sex world, brought together odd, but similarly-inspired revolutionaries.

—Many of us, the children of immigrants who barely made it out.
