Thanks for the recommendation for Sinners. I didn’t know anything about the movie so watched the trailer. I have to watch for the music if nothing else.
Oh yes. I think the trailer keeps a lot of secrets. Which is refreshing, right? No spoilers. The music is incredible. Reminds me of when “Oh Brother Where Art Thou?” came out. Murderbot . . . I think we’re all on tenterhooks. Hopefully author Martha Welles had a big thumb on the scale. If it’s infantile, or juvenile, I am going to get CRAZY
I watched the first episode of Murderbot and thought it captured the book well. Apple really shines with Science Fiction. But now I want Apple to do a “Sanctuary Moon spinoff. The Sanctuary Moon clips they showed were fascinating.
Sinners came out on HBO/Max (so happy that the HBO name is back) and I got the time to watch Sinners last night. Loved the mix of genres and especially the music. I strongly expected I would like the blues music but was also overjoyed to hear Irish folk music in the soundtrack too. I did the research to see if it was based on a book I could read and discovered it was an original screenplay. Thanks again for the recommendation Susie! I’m almost certain that I wouldn’t have taken a chance on it without reading your comments.
Aw, I love to hear that. Yeah, the soundtrack is a gas to explore on its own. Reminds me of how “Oh Brother Where Art Thou” was such a pioneering film with its original soundtrack of black and white southern folk/blues music
Oh you lovebirds! And write off David Hogg at your own risk. He's talking about reinvigorating the D party and getting it back in touch with the youth.

Murderbot I knew was coming. Loved the books.

I stopped whining and started watching A Complete Unknown. But I was wineing and watching.
I’ll allow that.
So, are you stocking up on toilet paper?
No. I have a Toto washlet. The Toilet Paper Industrial Complex has gotten the boot from me.

Parking at the cemetery provides the additional bonus of exercise and an opportunity for mortal contemplation.
