I’ve been wanting to catch you up on all my May Madness film and TV reviews.

You may ask: Do I get to pick my assignments for a daily paper? Not quite.

I submit a list of things I’d like to review. I’m last on the seniority totem pole, so I wait to see if someone throws me a bone! For a critic, though, the challenge is always: you must write a killer review no matter what the material is.

If I get a dog, I’m just as intrigued to see what to make of it.
