I bring to you: Kugel for the People — including all the people who gave up carbs. No one need suffer and sacrifice again.

  • 1 cup raisins or mix of small dice *dried* fruit, like cranberries, blueberries, etc.

  • Sherry to cover the raisins

  • 1 bag of egg noodles, or the miraculous Carba-Nada noodles1

  • 1 stick butter

  • 4 eggs

  • 3 cups full fat cottage cheese (not the light or diet kind!)

  • 1 cup full fat sour cream

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • Grated zest of 1 big lemon

  • Salt
