You know, I’ve been going nuts with my senile brain trying to verify the year! I now guess it was 1991. It was after my daughter was born, but before we moved to Santa Cruz. And I included it in a 1992 anthology called “Sexual Reality.” The Sunday paper that published it originally, the Examiner, went out of business and has no prescience online at all.
Oh, such a splendid day. It was 1991, I think! I can tell by a) my weight and my hair color and b) what I was wearing--which is how femme strippers measure time, I guess lol???????
I think you’re right. I had to pinpoint it by saying, “before or after baby?” (Just after). In fact, I’m trying to remember the saint who babysat for me!
Another SB organized event for the inspiration and know-how to present an emphatic expression of life on earth in Berkeley in 1991. What a refined and voluptuous tea party to dress for. And I love the full-monty of perspectives.
Why, I’d be afraid of spilling Lapsang Souchong on my peener!
Well, Richard, this is why you might not have passed the audition. We were VERY picky and there was a Lapsang Souchong pop quiz
I love this so much! I wanna do it in Alaska. Did it happen in the 80s or 1997?

You would have been a perfect guest, Marti!
I remember this! Fun to read it again. Jealous then. Jealous now! And the picture of you and Tom. Miss him.
I’m so glad so many people recognized our dear Tommy! Talk about losing someone too soon.
