I am chortling over the Chicago Sun Times scandal today: they laid off a quarter of their staff, and THEN assigned ChatGPT to write their annual “Summer Book Reads” advertorial. It’s full page newspaper story of books you might love to consume in a hammock or beach chair.
Only one problem: Large language models like ChatGPT have a recurrent error: they make shit up.
