I started working as a stringer for the SF Chronicle and the Book and Film Globe a couple months ago, and I love it.

In 1986, editor Jack Heidenry at Penthouse Forum hired me to be their film critic. He paid me $1200 a month, and it was a fortune. I bought new shoes and paid the rent on time.
