Christmas Movie Quiz: It’s Going to Be a Bumpy Ride!

Since mid-November, I’ve been studying the movies of 2024 to chose my “top picks.” What a workout!

It’s not an exercise for myself— it’s for the ballots I cast this month, alongside my colleagues, in the San Francisco Bay Area Film Critics Circle. (SFBAFCC).

There’s hundreds of movies to catch up on. I’m going through screeners like Kleenex, and scrutinizing less-glam categories like “Best Sound.”

I’ll report my own favorites next Thursday on my Stack — but until then, I thought we could relax and enjoy a Holiday-theme movie quiz.

The following questions . . . are only tangentially related to Santa Claus. It’s more like a movie muscle workout. Most of the questions were first posed to me by Dennis Cozzalio, in his famous vintage movie blog. Thank you, Dennis.
