Book Publishing Master Class - Fall Schedule
To: Authors and Editors Who Want to Be Read - Who Want to Make an Impact - Who Want to Make a Livelihood
I’m offering a series of twelve classes this fall in publishing acumen: the chops, ingenuity, and comprehension of why books get picked, published, beloved, and even legendary.
And more than that, how to repeat the trick.

I’ve worked as an acquisitions editor, contracting and publishing hundreds of bestselling titles through every major New York publishing house— and most of the North American independent and university presses, as well as a significant stake in the international book world.
I started in the 80s; I’ve seen what’s changed and what’s intriguingly stayed the same. I’ve mentored the authors of thousands of titles. In the book industry, those numbers equal millions of royalty dollars and publisher income.
I’ve seen the “impossible” succeed, and the “obvious” fail — and learned from everything in-between. There is a little luck involved, but it’s not magic. That’s why working with seasoned editors is crucial. (If not me, find the one who speaks to you).
